I love kids a whole lot. (Everyone loves kids though) The sight of them makes me marvel at the perfection of God’s creation.
Their beautiful looks, their level of innocence; how they forgive every wrong at a bribe with their favorite snacks, how they cling to anyone that is family or easily get fond of people, the ease they love and hate.
Everything about children is just amazing and honestly, I cannot wait to have mine!
Anyways, thanks to my handsome nephews, I do not have to wait till I have mine to enjoy the thrill of having a child. They should be the most beautiful thing that happened to mankind after God.
Because of their nature, there’s a need to always commit them to the hands of God so that they will have a glorious future.
“Catch them young” the Bible advised, and beyond discipline and nurture we need to always and at all times commit them to God through prayer.
These are the different prayers you can offer to God on behalf of your nephews.
1) Short prayer for my niece
“Father God, protect my niece (niece’s name) right now, make her always walk with Your presence and with Your light.
Allow my niece to be happy, free from negative energies, bad people and spiritual attacks. May You, Father God, always be by my niece’s side to protect her, now and forever! Amen.”Original StAgnes.net prayer. Copying prohibited, except with source.
You can start by thanking God for the gift of your nephews.
They are indeed a gift to every family. Even the scripture affirmed that children are blessings from God.
Therefore, we should always appreciate God for such a gift to mankind.
Pray that they continue to be the blessing they were meant for even as they grow, and in the wisdom and knowledge of God.
“Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. ” — Psalm 127:3-4.
2) Healing prayer for my little niece
“Saint Agnes, today I don’t pray for myself, but for someone very special, my niece (Niece’s name). She is sick, vulnerable and physically weak. Saint Agnes, my niece needs Your help, Your interception and Your miracles.
Santa Agnes, help my niece to recover, to gain strength to get up, to gain strength to continue fighting, and to gain strength to continue living.
Fill the heart, body and soul of (Niece’s name) with faith, strength and hope, so that she may heal, now and forever! May my niece recover all her strength and be well. Saint Agnes, I pray for You. Amen.”Original StAgnes.net prayer. Copying prohibited, except with source.
You must understand that despite the drugs and other medical aid we receive during sicknesses, it is still God that heals.
I’m sure you have seen or even experienced severe cases where people subscribe to every medical aid available for an ailment, yet healing did not come. The doctors will tell you, “we care, but God heals“
For your sick nephew, I understand it could be hard watching their small body experience the pains of sickness.
That shouldn’t make you angry or resentful. Rather, you can pour them at the feet of Jesus and trust that he can take away all the pain of sickness and restore the health of your niece.
Try as much as possible to look past the pain and find gratitude that she’s alive and God will heal her in due time.
3) Birthday prayer for my nephew
“(Nephew’s name) may God bless you on this birthday. May He always be with you, for good and for bad, and may He never leave you alone and unprotected.
May God fill your body, your heart and your soul with health, so that you can have a complete, happy and emotional life.
May God help you to have a year full of new opportunities, full of moments of great joy and with many friends!
May God bless you on your birthday, tomorrow and forevermore. Amen.”Original StAgnes.net prayer. Copying prohibited, except with source.
Birthdays are special days in everyone’s life.
Remember the case of king Herod. His heart was merry that he promised a young lady half of his kingdom.
Though your little nephew might not understand everything going on, he’s aware it’s special because everyone is in new clothes, daddy and mummy probably have prepared a lot of gifts for him, likewise close friends and relatives.
Aside from giving him all the good feeling that comes with a profound celebration, there’s a great need that we commit their new year to the hands of God.
We should pray that it will bring more blessings to their life and their family and that he keeps being a child of good character and morals that other children will emulate.
Pray that God keeps shielding him from bad influence and the snares of the enemy.
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. ” — James 1:17.
4) Protection prayer for my niece
“May the protection of Santa Agnes walk with you (nice’s name), night and day, morning and afternoon and during all times.
May Santa Agnes protect your body, protect your soul and protect your spirit. May Santa Agnes never leave you, and may she help you overcome all the challenges in your life.
(Nice’s name), I also ask that Santa Agnes help you to always walk protected from all attacks, all envy and all the bad intentions of other people.
I know you will have the divine protection of Saint Agnes, today, tomorrow and forever. Amen.”
The young ones are always prone to danger and evil because of their level of understanding and naiveness.
These dangers could come from society, wrong peer influence etc. Through this prayer, you can ask for divine protection from God.
At school, at the church, playground, the parents might not be available to watch over them and ensure their safety.
But God can do that for us. Not only because he’s Almighty, but He has a special love for children and He will always come through when we invite him.
You can also say this Bible verse after:
“All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace. ” — Isaiah 54:13.
5) Short blessing prayer for a niece
“Mighty God Our Lord, I ask for Your powerful and miraculous blessing not in my life, but in the life of my niece (name of niece) who needs it so much.
May Your light, Mighty God Our Lord, enter my niece’s life right now to illuminate, protect and bless her.
May Your blessings descend from Heaven right now and protect my niece, now and forever. Amen.”
They said tomorrow is uncertain because no one knows about it except God.
We, however, have been given the authority to speak into the future and program how we want it to be in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is therefore very essential that we always pray for these young ones. You can tell God your heart desires for your niece and believe that he has answered you.
Though they can pray as much as their little mind has learned, we can always pray adequately for them for God’s blessings and a glorious future.
6) Catholic prayer for a niece
“I pray today, full of faith and belief within my heart, to God Our Lord, to bless the life of my niece that I love so much right now. I pray with great faith that the abundance of God Our Lord be present in the life of my niece (name of niece) whom I adore so much.
May God, who is greater than anything in this world, help my niece throughout her life, during all her paths and during all her difficulties.
God’s powers are greater than anything, God’s forces are greater than anything, and that’s why I ask You, God Our Lord, that you never abandon (niece’s name). Amen.”Original StAgnes.net prayer. Copying prohibited, except with source.
Jesus Christ grew in wisdom and fear of God, not just because he’s God, but because of the kind of family, he was raised in.
You can pray for your young nephew to experience a good upbringing not just from the parents, but the teachers and every other person in the position to give him the best upbringing to the glory of God.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. ” — Proverbs 22:6.
7) Prayer for my niece and nephew
I offer up these prayers for my niece and nephew (names here). I pray for her well being and success in life. I pray that she will be fairly treated and not be taken advantage of because of her kind and generous heart. I pray that she will be successful in her training so she can get a decent paying job.
Please give her the courage to leave her present place of employment and to move on to something better, somewhere she will not be taken for granted.
I pray that her self-esteem will improve and please let her realize that she can succeed in whatever she sets out to do once she expends the time and effort.
I pray that you will continue to shower her with your blessings and keep her safe and protected at all times. I pray that the anger that I believe is within her goes away and I pray she is given the strength to deal with her father’s passing two years ago.
We experience almost the same joy as parents when children behave appropriately from a young age to adulthood.
While you try to imbibe good morals and conduct, pray that God will always be there to lead and guide them to lead exemplary lives and become great men and women in the future.
You can pray that God provides for their parents so that they can always provide and care for them.
Can anyone pray these prayers?
Yes, anyone can pray these prayers.
If you have a niece or nephew, then you are free as a bird to engage in this kind of prayer for your little niece and nephew.
Trust me they need these prayers at this age more than ever, because, when they get it right young, then they have truly earned it right.
Can I say the prayers before bed?
Yes, you can say these prayers before bed.
You can say them anytime your heart compels you to, or you think there’s a need for it. Prayer can never be too much, especially for these young ones.
The devil already knows the destiny of these little ones, so he tries to dim their light before they get to understand what greatness is.
Before retiring for the day, say this prayer for your nieces and nephews. Thank God for the gift of them and pray that He always guides and protects them and their destinies.
Should I pray only one prayer?
You can pray more than one prayer. Prayer can never be too much.
So, you shouldn’t necessarily limit yourself by saying just one prayer.
You can say as much as you can with the faith that your desires will be granted by the almighty God.
This is a special spiritual exercise you can engage in any time of the day. Ensure you have the faith and determination to get the results of your prayers.
When I look at these young ones, I’m not seeing a bunch of children that don’t know what their future might look like, I’m seeing our future generation right in front of me.
I so much believe in what the scripture says about training children in the way they should go, that when they will grow old, they will not depart from it.
I’m also aware you cannot train a child the right way just by mere human effort, trust me you will fail utterly.
There’s a place of God in the training of a child and that is why we need to always pray for them at all times so that we will enjoy glorious days when they grow.
