We are all in need of miracles at all times. The world we live in is an imperfect place full of ups and downs.
We experience constraints from different sources; your boss suddenly laid you off, your child became ill one Monday morning, your debt is increasing in geometric progression and you have no additional source of income.
These things just happen and most of the time we are not prepared for them.
You might see yourself mumbling like me “Lord, I need a miracle!“
That’s because I knew it was only a supernatural hand that could save me at that moment. It’s one of those things that makes me say “Thank God for God“.
I can’t imagine this life if there is no God.
Prayer allows us to invite the mighty hand of God in those circumstances that seem to be beyond us. By believing in His power to change circumstances we experience His mighty works.

This is a kind of prayer that moves God to action. Three things are known to invite the presence of God in a mighty way.
- Thanksgiving: God loves thanksgiving. The scripture explained that we were created for His glory. When we acknowledge His supremacy over all things and appreciate the mighty works He is doing, we invite Him to do more.

- The word: The word of God is infallible. The Bible recorded that God exalts His words above His name. When we pray with the scripture by reminding God what He said in his word regarding a situation, we compel Him to move again.
A good instance is the issue of sickness where He assured us of healing by His stripes. You can ask for His healing in that regard, and plead the blood of Jesus Christ on the health of the sick person.
- Faith: I love to cite the story of the Ethiopian eunuch in the scripture whose servant was sick. When He asked Jesus to heal His servant and Jesus wanted to come to His place, He told Him there won’t be a need for that because He is not worthy to receive a mighty man like Him to his house. That He believes His servant will be healed by His proclamation.
Even Jesus marveled at such faith. And of course, his servant was miraculously healed.
Faith is one powerful tool that makes prayer effective. When you say this prayer, believe that God can answer you and watch His power is made manifest in your situation

The holy spirit is a manifestation of God’s presence.
Before our lord Jesus departed, He promised us the holy spirit as our helper. It was manifested after the descent of the holy spirit on the day of Pentecost.

Sometimes we experience situations that make life difficult. It is usually logical to settle for worry and fear.

This prayer reminds me of the widow in the Bible whose son was dead and was about to be buried.
I’m sure the old woman has given up on ever having His son back or anyone calling Him mother ever again.
But Jesus saw her and pitied her and His son was brought back to life.
This means that there is no hopeless situation when Jesus comes.

Yes, God can really help you achieve a miracle.
There are many cases in the scripture where Jesus did a lot of miracles. He pointed out to the people in Jerusalem that this was the purpose of His coming.
Jesus is still in our midst. This time He dwells in our hearts. What a privilege!
We are rest assured He will always come through for us.
Can I trust in God’s power?
Yes, you can trust in God’s power.
God has proven his great power and might on earth. We have several accounts in the scriptures from the old testament to the new testament.
Even in this modern time, God is still showing His might and power in the lives of His children.
The scripture has also assured us of the unchanging nature of God. We just have to believe in His power and open our hearts to receive them through prayers.
Believe in God he will help you
It is God’s immense desire to bless us.
The scripture recorded how much God loves man above all things that He sent His only son to come and die for our sake, to set us free from the condemnation we inherited from our first parents.
By setting us free, He also carried away our burdens and assured us of a happy life with Him.
If God has not failed us before, I don’t think He will fail now.
If we can build our faith in him, then every impossible situation will be made possible.
